API and database tools
Testing an API or browsing a database is easier when the tool behaves the same way every day. API clients send and inspect requests; database tools connect, query and edit your data. These 9 apps list older versions in case an update changes how yours behaves.

What you’ll find here
This page covers tools for working with APIs and databases on Windows and macOS, with Linux builds for some: REST and GraphQL clients, graphical database managers for MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MongoDB and others, and database servers such as PostgreSQL and CockroachDB. Each app has its own page with versions, installers and checksums.
The 9 apps listed here are Bruno, CockroachDB, DBeaver, HeidiSQL, Insomnia, MongoDB Compass, PostgreSQL 17, Postman, and TablePlus. All 9 run on Windows, and 7 also on macOS. Of these, 5 are open source. Between them the site lists 513 versions. Older versions are mostly available for Windows; for macOS the current release is usually the one listed. Everyversion hosts no installers: every download button goes to the download location named in the publisher’s package data, normally the publisher’s own server. For all 9 we downloaded the installers ourselves and re-computed their SHA-256.
