Using the site
By using everyversion.net you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
What the site is
everyversion.net is an index. It lists software versions, publisher download links, checksums and related facts. We host no installers. Download links lead to the publisher’s servers.
Your responsibilities
- Use the site lawfully.
- Check that any software you download is licensed for how you intend to use it.
- Check downloads against the SHA-256 value on the page, and scan them with software you trust.
- Don’t scrape the site in a way that degrades it for others. Reasonable use of the published JSON index and per-app JSON files is welcome.
Accuracy
We work to keep the data correct, but it comes from third-party sources and can be wrong or out of date. Checksums are copied from upstream manifests and are not independently re-computed. Each app page says so. If you find an error, tell us.
Old software and security
Older versions can contain known security flaws that newer versions fixed. Choosing one is your decision. Don’t run old software that handles sensitive data on a network you don’t control.
No warranty
The site and its data are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.
Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site or of software you download through links on it.
Intellectual property
Software names, logos and trademarks belong to their owners. Our original text and code are ours. Underlying package data is used under its upstream licenses. See content & takedown requests.
Links to other sites
We link to publisher sites. We don’t control them and aren’t responsible for their content or practices.
Changes and contact
