Remote access and file transfer
Remote tools have to match what is on the other end, and a newer version is not always compatible. Remote desktop apps share a screen; SSH and FTP clients move files and run commands. These 11 apps list older versions where available, with publisher download links.

What you’ll find here
This page covers remote access and file transfer software for Windows and macOS: remote desktop and game-streaming clients, SSH, SFTP and FTP clients, and peer-to-peer file sharing apps. Compare them here, then open any app for its installers, checksums and release notes.
The 11 apps listed here are AnyDesk, Cyberduck, Moonlight Game Streaming Client, Parsec, PuTTY, qBittorrent, SoulseekQt, TeamViewer, Termius, Transmission, and WinSCP. All 11 run on Windows, and 8 also on macOS. Of these, 6 are open source. Between them the site lists 244 versions. Older versions are mostly available for Windows; for macOS the current release is usually the one listed. Everyversion hosts no installers: every download button goes to the download location named in the publisher’s package data, normally the publisher’s own server. For 10 of the 11 we downloaded the installers ourselves and re-computed their SHA-256; for the others the checksums come from the published package listings and are marked as such.
