• Runs the installer package NordVPN.pkg; package installers usually ask for an administrator password and can place files anywhere on the system.
• Requires macOS 14 or later.
• The app updates itself, so it may be newer than the version Homebrew lists.
• On uninstall, Homebrew asks the app to quit, stops background services, forgets installer package receipts, removes login items, and deletes 3 extra files.
• A full “zap” removal also deletes up to 9 support, cache and preference locations in your home folder.
