### What the installer does
- Delivered as a macOS installer package (.pkg) for Apple silicon and Intel.
- Runs the installer package `NordVPN.pkg`; package installers usually ask for an administrator password and can place files anywhere on the system.
- Requires macOS 14 or later.
- The app updates itself, so it may be newer than the version Homebrew lists.
- On uninstall, Homebrew asks the app to quit, stops background services, forgets installer package receipts, removes login items, and deletes 3 extra files.
- A full “zap” removal also deletes up to 9 support, cache and preference locations in your home folder.
