What the installer does

Windows

• Delivered as an Inno Setup program (.exe) for x64 and a ZIP archive that is unpacked containing a portable program that runs without being installed for x64, x86, and ARM64.
• The manifest does not state an install scope.
• The installer asks Windows for administrator rights itself.

Mac

• Delivered as a disk image (.dmg) for Apple silicon and Intel.
• Installs the app PPSSPPSDL.app into the Applications folder.
• On uninstall, Homebrew asks the app to quit.
• A full “zap” removal also deletes up to 1 support, cache and preference location in your home folder.

Linux

• Delivered as a "flatpak" installer for x64 and ARM64.
• The manifest does not state an install scope.
• No silent-install switch is declared in the manifest.

Description

PPSSPP can run your PSP games on your PC in full HD resolution; it can even upscale textures that would otherwise be too blurry as they were made for the small screen of the original PSP.
